Armada’s goal is to reduce the impact of merchant shipping on our world by delivering systems which lower vessel fuel consumption, pollution and  operating costs, using air lubrication technology.

Vision - Being a reference as a shipyard dedicated to design, repair, conversion and building of ships with the objective of increasing competitiveness, market presence, sales volume, profit and our social purpose as a company.

Atlantec Enterprise Solutions GmbH was founded in 1999 by experts in shipbuilding, engineering and computer science. Our mission is to provide solutions that enable clients to improve engineering, production and life-cycle management processes in a cost-effective manner.

To this end, Atlantec Enterprise Solutions introduced its Topgallant® software in 2000. Over the years, we have worked with some of the world’s leading shipyards and maritime industry businesses to help them improve their operations.

The National Research Council (CNR) is the largest public research institution in Italy, the only one under the Research Ministry performing multidisciplinary activities.

Friendship Systems

We help our customers in the field of complex parametric geometry and simulation-driven design processes. In particular, we focus on efficient geometry models and the automation of the geometry generation for design explorations and shape optimization. With many years of experience in the field of flow-related shape optimization and on the basis of our proven software platform CAESES®, we are able to provide solutions to our customers for virtually every challenge that engineers and designers encounter when setting up an optimization process.

Liverpool John Moores University

LJMU ranks in the top half of the overall research league table, placed 61st, out of 128 universities which submitted more than one unit of assessment, in the proportion of research that is world-leading or internationally excellent and we are second in the University Alliance group.

We combine software, model test facilities, simulators, and full-scale monitoring capabilities to help our clients make ships and operations cleaner, safer and smarter during each phase of the lifecycle.

National Technical University of Athens

Founded in 1837, the National technical University of Athens (NTUA) is the oldest Technical University in Greece. The School of Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering (SNAME), established in 1969 is one of the nine Schools of NTUA. The aim of the School is to provide high quality education and carry out research in all fields related to Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering, as well as other related fields that can be grouped under the broader title of Maritime Technology. The School comprises four Departments, namely: Naval and Marine Hydrodynamics, Ship Design and Maritime Transport, Marine Engineering and Marine Structures. In addition, the School operates 6 Laboratories. Members of the Ship and Marine Hydrodynamics lab, operating the only towing tank in the country, the Marine Engineering lab, the Shipbuilding Technology lab and the Ship Design lab are participating in the RetroFit for 55 consortium.

Newcastle University

Influencing policy, industry, communities and jurisdiction: A key feature of our approach to One Planet is looking beyond understanding of resources. We influence policy, industry, communities and jurisdictions to adopt sustainable practices.

Our world-leading work includes:

  • demonstrating transition to low-carbon energy and transport in the UK and internationally

  • influencing and exploring the legal dimensions of environmental regulation

Our range of services starts from the concept idea until the ship is put in service and continues through life-cycle services as maintenance, repair and conversion. We have the ability to address all steps of the design and engineering process with high quality. Our background in Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE), Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) in the Maritime industry has encouraged the development and application of simulation methods to solve the most demanding engineering problems.
